Sundays are days of rest, when you can spend the whole day relaxing before heading back to work or school the next day. Nothing makes you feel more confident than looking good and feeling confident makes everything easier, so you should spend your Sundays making sure that you’ll look good for the coming week. For this routine you’ll need an exfoliating sugar scrub, a toner, a cleanser, a face mask and a moisturizer. The routine itself won’t take more than an hour with almost half of that just being the mask portion, so it won’t take away your whole Sunday.

The first thing to do is to wash your face with your cleanser. This will clear away imperfections and prevent you from rubbing dirt into your pores when you’re exfoliating. Make sure to use a facecloth with hot water, to open up your pores as you’re cleansing. You can also put the wringed out face cloth on your face for a few minutes beforehand to steam your face and open your pores. Once you’re done cleansing, you can start exfoliating gently. Don’t rub hard and avoid any area where you already have a break out. You want to primary target any areas where the skin is dry.

After this, apply your face mask and allow it to sit for at least twenty minutes. The kind of face mask you use should be determined by your skin type. Clay mask are good for oily skin, charcoal masks are good for acne prone skin. Once you wash your face mask off, apply a toner and allow it to absorb into the skin before you apply your moisturizer. And that’s it! Come Monday, you’ll start the week with glowing, soft skin.
